In brief

What works, what to weigh

Strengths

3 reasons to book
  • A few minutes from Roma Termini — The hotel's description places it only a few metres from Roma Termini, and guests consistently describe a short walk from the station and metro, making it a convenient starting point for sightseeing.
  • Friendly, practical staff — Reception comes in for repeated praise, from marking routes on a map and giving transport advice to printing airline tickets.
  • Clean rooms at a low rate — The entry rate is £39, and guests describe clean, compact rooms with daily housekeeping and useful in-room extras that guests mention – fridge, air conditioning and safe.

Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Comfort and facilities trail the overall rating — Guest scores put comfort at 5.8 and facilities at 6.5, noticeably below the 8.0 overall. Reviews also describe compact rooms, so it's worth managing expectations accordingly.
  • Breakfast is repetitive — Several reviews mention the same sliced cheese, ham, pastries and coffee day after day. It works for the price, but don't expect variety.
  • No pets allowed — The hotel's policy is no pets, so travellers with animals will need to find alternative accommodation.

“Rooms were clean, the entrance from the busy street was convenient, and the main Roman landmarks were close by.”

8Verified guest

“A pleasant, fairly clean hotel in a great spot, very close to the train and bus station. Staff were kind and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed talking to them. Breakfast had coffee and cakes, service and food were good, and the Wi-Fi was free.”

8Verified guest

“A five-minute walk from Termini. Staff were helpful with transport tips, and breakfast had good Italian pastries – a nice start to busy days of sightseeing at places like the Colosseum and Basilica, all within easy reach. The room was spotlessly clean and warm, helped by effective air conditioning.”

8Verified guest

“The location was excellent: Termini and the metro station were a 5–7 minute walk, main sights 15–20 minutes on foot, and a supermarket was opposite. Everything matched the description. Reception was staffed 24 hours and friendly. Breakfast had cereal, cold cuts, cheese, muffins, croissants and jam. Housekeeping came every day during our three-day stay: towels were changed and the bed made, but the bed linen wasn't changed. The room had a fridge, air conditioning and a safe. City tax was €4 per person per day.”

8Verified guest

“We visited Rome for the May holidays. The hotel was a 7–10 minute walk from Roma Termini, with several supermarkets nearby and all major attractions within walking distance. It occupies the 4th floor of the building; look for the golden sign in the centre of the building, repeated in front of the elevator. The room was small but cosy and had everything we needed. It was cleaned daily. There was a small fridge, safe and TV. If you come from Russia, you won't need adapters. Staff were polite, and reception printed our airline tickets. Breakfast offered several types of buns, croissants, cheese, ham, yoghurt, a coffee machine and juices.”
